Insurance for our cycling members is arranged through a collaborative effort between the Canadian Cycling Association and the Provincial and Territorial associations.

While membership dues (which includes an insurance portion) is collected at the Provincial level, the policy itself is administered at the National level in order to benefit from the economies of scale due to pooling everyone under one central policy.

There are several different types and levels of insurance available under this policy, each with its own use and purpose. Most of this coverage is included as part of your membership dues. Below is a brief description of the various coverage and whether they are included as part of your membership dues or available for an extra fee.

Please note:  This is a brief overview of the policies arranged by the Canadian Cycling Association and the Provincial and Territorial Associations. This is not intended to replace or substitute for the policy documents. Copies of the policies can be provided by contacting the office of the Canadian Cycling Association or by downloading the appropriate file below.
