The Canadian Cycling Association is the sum of its member provincial/territorial cycling associations, and governed by a Board of Directors comprising a president, five directors at large and a national team athlete director. The Board of Directors meets at least twice (2) a year and the President exercises general oversight of the affairs of the Canadian Cycling Association on behalf of the Board of Directors. Programs for athlete, coach, officials and event development are led by expert volunteers and staff and the association's national office is located in Ottawa.
