June 28, 2009 – Guillaume Boivin won the road race at the Canadian
championships in Saint-Georges-de-Beauce. The Quebec rider edged André
Tremblay at the finish. Andrew Hunt was third. All three were 23-years-old
and finished ahead of the elite field. |

de Beauce - Final Report
The 816 kilometre Tour de Beauce concluded on Sunday with a 130 kilometre
circuit race, won by Australia's Bernard Sulzberger, with a time of three
hours, 11 minutes and 42 seconds

Junior World Championships
June 4, 2009 - The CCA recently learned of the confirmed number of starters
for the 2009 Junior World Championships taking place in Moscow from Aug.
11-15. The selection criteria have been updated to include 3 sprint starters
for men and women versus 2; and in the omnium events Canada qualified
for 1 female starter and 0 male starters based on results from the 2008
World Championships.
