12.12.07 - National Level BMX Commissaire Course

January 26-27, 2008 - Toronto, Ontario

The CCA is coordinating a National Level BMX Commissaire Course scheduled to take place in Toronto, Ontario – January 26-27, 2008. The course will be presented in English by, Loyal Ma UCI BMX Commissaire.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible to become a National Level BMX Commissaire candidates must have completed at least two years as a Provincial Level BMX Commissaire or be currently qualified as a National Level Road or MTB commissaire.

Candidates must receive the recommendation of their provincial or territorial association and conform to the National Commissaire Course Requirements policy, as set out by the Official Committee. The associations are encouraged to subsidize costs for candidates representing the province or territory.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates must complete the attached application form, include a brief resume of their experience in the discipline and return all of it to the CCA with payment for the course.

Registration is $100.00.

The registration deadline is Friday January 11, 2008. Candidates will receive confirmation as registrations are received.

COURSE SUMMARY:

· Saturday January 26 - All day (09h00 start) - Classroom session.
· Sunday January 27 - All day (09h00 start) - Classroom session/exam.
· Sunday January 27 - Participants depart (Approximately 16h00).

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL:
Candidates are responsible for their own costs and arrangements associated with travel, accommodation and meals. The CCA is exploring the availability of affordable room rates at a local hotel. Please indicate on the registration form the date’s accommodation would be required if interested in this option. The CCA will confirm availability and rates to participants.
