02.04.09 - UCI Medical Monitoring

It has recently come to my attention that there seems to be a bit of confusion with regards to the mandatory UCI medical testing requirements.

In the spirit of clearing whatever confusion there may be I invite all cyclists that are or believe they may be within the rankings mentioned below to please carefully consult the UCI website link I have copied below.

BMX UCI top 20 women; UCI top 50 men

Track UCI top 40 women; UCI top 100 men

MTB-XCO UCI top 40 women; UCI top 100 men

May I also remind you that it is your responsibility to make sure that you conform to the UCI medical requirements and that if you already hold a 2009 racing licence issued by your province you are in infraction.
