03.01.11 - Hamilton Foundation 2011 Carding

The Hamilton Foundation and the Canadian Cycling Association is pleased to announce that the application process for the 2011 carding cycle will begin February 28, 2011 and close March 14th, 2011. The program is open to Elite female road athletes in the development stage and showing great potential as well as U23 male road athletes.

The value of the award will be of $ 2 500.00 for one (1) year. The funds will be administered by the CCA.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Canadian citizens
· Show a long-term commitment to racing with cycling clubs or teams
· Commitment to contribute to National Team development projects,

Athletes who receive Sport Canada Carding remain eligible for the program.

Athletes who earn more than $ 50,000 from all sources are not eligible to apply for support through this program. All applicants will be asked to attest to the fact that their annual earnings are less than this threshold amount.

Application forms must be entirely filled out and submitted by March 14th, 2011.
