Media Accreditation Process Open for the Guadalajara2011
Parapan American Games
Ottawa, ON, July 27, 2011 - The Canadian Paralympic
Committee is now accepting applications for media accreditation
from Canadian media for the Guadalajara 2011 Parapan
American Games in Mexico.
The 2011 Parapan American Games will be held Nov. 12
- 20, 2011 and will be a qualifier for the London 2012
Paralympic Games for a majority of sports.
Canada will send athletes to compete in 11 of the 13
Parapan American sports, including: Athletics, Wheelchair
Basketball, Boccia, Cycling, Goalball, Judo, Swimming,
Table Tennis, Wheelchair Tennis, Archery and Sitting
Volleyball. Canada will not compete in Powerlifting
and Football 5-a-side. The complete Canadian team will
be announced in September.
Canadian media are invited to fill out the form HERE
and send it to media@paralympic.ca.
All applications must be received by August
15, 2011.
Please note that this is the only process for media
to apply for accreditation for the 2011 Parapan American
Games.
The two categories of accreditation for the 2011 Parapan
American Games will be Journalist and Photographer.
The Canadian Paralympic Committee expects to complete
the allocation of media accreditations quickly and will
notify all applicants upon completion.
Please note that passports must be valid for at least
six months after the date of entry in to Mexico.
