UCI level BMX Commissaire course
April 6-8th 2007, Victoria, British Columbia

The UCI is coordinating an International level BMX Commissaire course scheduled to take place in Victoria, British Columbia on – April 6-8th, 2007. The course will be presented in English by UCI BMX International Course conductor Mr. Ray Stanley from Australia.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for this international course candidates must have fulfilled the criteria as referenced in article 1.1.054 of the UCI regulations. Candidates must hold a current UCI licence and be between the ages of 25 and 50 at the time of the course.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Please note the attached UCI application form. Please fill out this form and attach a resume outlining your commissaire assignments, related qualifications and experience during the last four years. Applications must also have a copy of an official identity card such as a drivers licence or passport. The CCA will verify stated qualifications. All applications and resumes must be in digital format.
All candidates must have their application approved by the PSO in their province of residence. Applications approved by the PSO's will be forwarded to the CCA head office. The CCA Officials Committee will decide which applications will be forwarded to the UCI for their final consideration. The CCA Officials Committee decision will be final.
The application deadline to the CCA is February 23, 2007.
Final applications will be submitted by the CCA to the UCI by February 26, 2007.
The UCI will finalize candidates for the course by March 9th 2007.
Candidate(s) selected to attend the course will be notified by the UCI/CCA on or about March 12, 2007.
COURSE SUMMARY: (Tentative outline – subject to change) Candidates will be asked to arrive in Victoria on Thursday April 5th.
- Thursday April 5th - Arrive in Victoria
- Friday April 6th - Instruction session
- Saturday April 7th - Instruction session
- Sunday April 8th - Instruction session and exams
- Monday April 9th - Depart Victoria
ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL:
Candidates are responsible for their own costs and arrangements associated with travel, accommodation and meals.
Specific information will be circulated to successful candidates.
