05.08.07 – Changes to Pan Am championships selections

May 8, 2007 – The Canadian Cycling Association will not be selecting any new athletes to the men’s road team for the Pan American championships following the withdrawal of the Symmetrics athletes.

The team will consist of the remaining available athletes previously selected to the team or nominated as alternates:

Road race (elite):

• Charles Dionne (Ste-Foy QC)
• Martin Gilbert (Montreal QC)
• Ryan McKenzie (Calgary AB)

Road race (U23):

• Keven Lacombe (Amos QC)
• David Veilleux (Quebec QC)

Elite time trial:

• Zach Bell (Vancouver BC)

U23 time trial:

• Keven Lacombe (Amos QC)
• David Veilleux (Quebec QC)
