06.12.06 - Downhill Canada Cup #3: Charles-Alexandre Dubé (QC) and Adrienne Millar (BC) are Canada's top riders.
Québec (QC), June 12, 2006 - The stage #3 of the Canada Cup Downhill opened the Vélirium Mountain Bike Festival this weekend at Mont-Sainte-Anne. Despite rain showers, Adrienne Millar (BC) and Charles-Alexandre Dubé (QC) were Canada's top riders, with the gold and silver medal respectively.

At Sunday's finals, World Cup talented rider Nathan Rennie from Australia dominated the Elite Men's Canada Cup event, followed by Québec's Charles-Alexandre Dubé who was riding at home in second place and Eric Goss (NB) in third.

Charles-Alexandre Dubé said after his race: "I'm very satisfied with my result since the gap with Rennie is not that big. The race course was full of big wholes and I had a flat, hopefully enough it ocurred in the run's last meters. I'm feeling confident for the World Cup!"

In the Women's Elite, Adrienne Millar, of Team Devinci-Daredevil, took her third Canada Cup consecutive victory.
