2008 – headed to his fourth Paralympic Games…
races in tandem with pilot Pierre-Olivier Boily…
2006 World Championship road race silver medalist –
made his debut at the 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta, USA
where he finished 6th in Mixed 60/70km tandem open (9th
in the 200m sprint, 13th in the track individual pursuit,
13th in the kilo sprint and did not finish the road race);
in 2000 in Sydney, he was 12th in the sprint open, 14th
in the road race, 15th in the individual pursuit open,
18th in the kilo time trial; in 2004 in Athens, he had
three top-10 finishes – 5th in the road race, 6th
in the individual pursuit, 10th in the kilo time trial…one
of career highlights is winning the 2003 Open European
Road Race Championships…bearer of the yellow jersey
in the 2004 Tour of Belgium…
