In 2008: competing at first Olympic Games…Joined
number-one ranked Webcor Builders team with compatriots
Alex Wrubleski and Erinne Willock… Ranked 10th in
the world in UCI women’s scratch race standings
and 17th in points race at end of 2007-08 season…Six-time
national champion…In 2006 was ranked number-one
in the world in the scratch race…. Played soccer
in high school but switched to cycling after injuring
both knees… First cycling event was mountain biking,
then started road racing. Started track racing seriously
in 2004… A registered kinesiologist… Use to
work in exercise physiology and rehab programs at Saanich
Commonwealth Place…
