SUPPORT CANADA’S NATIONAL TEAM AS THEY PREPARE FOR THE 2012 GAMES IN LONDON.
The
Canadian Cycling Association, through the support of the Grand Prix Cycliste
Pro Tour race organizer, has developed a special limited VIP experience
that will put you in a preferred seating area near the Start/Finish line
for Canada’s largest cycling event of the year.
Your support goes a long way. Currently Canada has only one professional team – Team Spidertech – which trains and supports the competition for many of our nation’s top male road cyclists. On the women’s side there are fewer opportunities to ride on professional teams. In order to compete with the top cycling nations the Canadian Cycling Association has developed a European training base from which the technical staff led by National Coach Vincent Jourdain operates an extensive training and competition program for targeted Canadian riders.
The proceeds from this event will increase the number of riders that can participate in this important program which will assist Canada in becoming a stronger road racing nation.
