A NEW ERA BEGINS IN CANADIAN CYCLING WITH A NEW NAME AND LOOK
The Board of Directors of the Canadian Cycling Association is pleased to announce that the organization will be known as Cycling Canada Cyclisme from this date forward.

May 20, 2012 - The Canadian Cycling Association would like to congratulate road cyclist Sebastien Salas of Team Optum-Kelly Benefit for winning the King of the Mountain jersey at the 2012 Amgen Tour of California.

CLARA HUGHES REPEAT TIME TRIAL WIN IN GATINEAU
May 19, 2012 - It was a beautiful day for a time trial race in glorious sunshine in Gatineau. Forty-seven cyclists participated in the Chrono Gatineau Rona, a time trial race of 18.4 km. The course was comprised of two laps of a 9.2 km loop, with a sharp hill of 500 m at 5.9% grade, as well as some technical corners including a roundabout difficult to negotiate.

October 22, 2011 - The road cycling season came to an end today with the presentation of the road races at the 2011 Pan-American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. May 25 2011 - Over 500 cyclists from every region of Canada are expected to partake at the 2011 Immunity-FX Canadian Road Championships, a two-week cycling event held from June 23 to July 3, primarily in the city of Burlington, Ontario, with events will also be held in the Toronto and Belfountain area.
 

BRONZINI WINS ROAD RACE AT GRAND PRIX CYCLISTE GATINEAU AT THE SPRINT
May 21, 2011 - On a sunny day in the National Capital region, Italian cyclist Georgia Bronzini of Team Colavita Forno D’Aso won the Grand Prix Cycliste de Gatineau in the final meters of the race, edging at the finish line Canadian cyclist Joëlle Numainville of Team ‘Tibco To The Top’ and American cyclist and teammate Theresa Cliff-Ryan.

DESPITE CRASHING, CLARA HUGHES WINS THE CHRONO GATINEAU AND DEDICATES THE VICTORY TO YOUNG OTTAWA GIRL
(Gatineau, QC – May 19, 2011) Clara Hughes of Glen Sutton, QC took the top honours of the time trial race at the 2011 Chrono Gatineau on Thursday, winning the solo time trials by stopping the clock at 23:49.17. And the win, she did not only dedicate to Canada, but also to Daron Richardson, a young girl from Ottawa who tragically died last year.
