Who can became a CCA Sprockids
NICP Leader:
You can be a CCA Sprockids NICP leader if you posses the
following requirements :
1. Know how to ride a bike
2. To be recommended and supported by one of the following
organization (delivers) :
- Affiliated cycling clubs
- National Cycling Centres
- Provincial and Territorial Cycling Organisations
- Schools
- Bike stores (member of the BTAC – Bicycle and Trades
Association of Canada)
- Universities and colleges
- Municipalities
- Other recognize institutions such as Boys and Girls Clubs,
Scouts, etc.
3. To be a member of your Provincial Cycling Association
4. 16 years old minimum
5. Current Police Check
6. First aid course

How do I get recommended and supported by
a recognized organization:
The CCA Sprockids NICP is a nationally co-ordinated program
with community-based delivery. In order to cover the police
check policies of certain province / region / organisations,
as well as the insurance issues, a potential Leader must have
a letter of recommendation and partnership from one of the
recognized deliverers to be accepted in the Training. (See
section « Recognized
organization definition under the Information tab at the
top»)
How much is the CCA Sprockids NICP Leader
training:
The cost to the complete Training is 175$ and includes
the following:.
-One day training
